Thanks for checking out my new web site ... I will be updating each section every month so come back for more of Sydney-Kane.com!
Hey! What’s up? So I just got my new website!! It soo cool! And I love it! Anyways so what’s goin on with me is that I recently shot an episode of Barney last November, and it actually aired on Monday September 14, 2009. I played a Greek junior Olympic champion named Damara. It was so much fun! I was only there for 4 days … I was super upset when I left … I hope to go back.
I made so many new friends! So I just started a season of volleyball and its soo much fun!! We have like 50 million games coming up and I cant wait!
Speaking of sports, dancing! I love to dance its one of my favorite things to do when I’m bored … It really just clears out your mind and just gets rid of all your problems ...

I tune out everyone and everything and just let the rhythm move me. I actually started dancing when I was like 3 and then I kept dancing until I was 8 then I stopped because I started singing. Then when I was like 9 ½ I started hip hop and have been doing it ever since.
You know what I just thought of… how I found Septien Entertainment (my voice lesson studio) My cousin was dancing back up for this singer and I was like 9 ½ when this happened, and I my mom was talking to my aunt and my aunt said that this singer was with this AMAZING voice lesson studio and that I should try it out. So when my mom came up to tell me about Septien I said right before she could get the words out of her mouth, that I wanted to see where that girl took voice lessons.
So my mom made a call and I got an audition 2 weeks later and BAM! I’m with Septien Entertainment. I have actually been with Septien for 4 ½ years now and I actually am working on some new songs and its soo much fun! And I have this new song that I am working on that was given to me called “girls unite” Its about how a guy is cheating on this girl, and the girl that he cheating on meets the other girls and they like confront him through out the song… it’s a great dancing song, very Shakira, Beyonce-ish.
OMG! Have you heard the song sweet dreams by Beyonce?? I LOVE that song! It’s like my JAM! At all of the parties I go to I always dance to that song!!! Its really funny because everyone is just staring at me like I’m some kind of loser, but I don’t care. I don’t care what other people think of me, I want to live my life, not watch people living theirs. Because then what’s the point of living if you cant step outside of the box and be unique? Well that’s all for right now….. BYE!

I love to watch America's Next Top Model!
Ugly Betty is a show that shows you that having your own personal style isn't a bad thing!
OMG! Am I excited to be talking about fashion with you guys! Well I will let you I love to SHOP! Probably my favorite thing to do when I’m bored! Anyways… my style is kind of street-ish, I love colored jeans! I have a pair in magenta! I got them at Nordstrom’s! I love hats!! But only when it’s winter or else you will over do it. Scarves are cute too…. OMG I love those gloves without the finger things.
Even though the clothes on your body change constantly you will never lose your style
One thing I learned about fashion is making sure you would picture this outfit in a magazine. I learned so much about fashion from watching America’s Next Top Model, Ugly Betty, and reading lots of fashion magazines. Anyways, my style is unique because sometimes you see girls that are in this industry that like to wear prissy things, well I like ripped jeans, beat up shoes, things you would see in the street, except more stylish. I like to shop at lots of different places, such as, Abercrombie (guy fit jeans are the best, and skinny jeans too!) Pac Sun (the other day I saw NEON jeans SO GETTING THEM!) Nordstrom’s (where I found those magenta jeans!) Saks Fifth Avenue (never know what you will find!)!
Ok now lets talk accessories!
Earrings: I like to go simple yet elegant for a night out, for example, diamond studs! Simple earrings are cute for a dinner party or a premier. If you are going to a party try something funkier like dangling, or hoops!
Scarves: If your style is like mine you will probably like to wear scarves. A key to wearing scarves is that you can’t have to many patterns in the outfit, something simple for example a plain back shirt with a leather jacket, skinny jeans and a wild out there scarf. Or a cute fun top jeans and a plain color scarf (tip: make sure that the color scarf matches some of the colors in the outfit). Jewelry: necklaces really aren’t that important for a party, you don’t really want to have to waking your face while your dancing, but if you want to have them on you can! BUT! If your shirt has a big design on it or something major with rhinestones, don’t wear one; it will be way too much. Simple yet elegant is the key to fashion (in my opinion).
Bracelets: never ever! Wear too many unless you have a plain outfit on! My favorite types are bangles they are so pretty and elegant!

A Note from Syd:
Hey! I'm here to talk to you about my style and how its different from every bodies! I sing songs like Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Queen Latifa, Jennifer Hudson, and MANY more! I used to sing only pop until I started to go to Septien. I found my true ability to sing R&B/POP. Unlike most singers my voice lesson teacher, Linda Septien, told me I can reach belts not many singers can reach. At first I thought it was a bad thing that I wasn’t like other singers, but it turns out that I am happy to be unique. Linda said that I was unique because my voice can sing different genres, such as R&B, POP, (some) COUNTRY, and POP/ROCK. But, I stick to R&B, POP/ROCK. She says I can riff like Christina Aguilera and sing like Beyonce. I know that I'm only 12 and your probably thinking how can she sing like Beyonce? Well I can tell you something it takes A LOT of practice. And all of that practice really pulled off.
